Hand Crafted Art Nouveau Cylinder Pull.

Part of the most prestigious Brassart “Liberty” range. Influenced by the Art Nouveau era; this was an innovative but short lived style (around 1890-1910) that became an important bridge between the historicism of Neoclassicism and modernism.

Art Nouveau was characterised by its flowing lines and in some parts of the world with whiplash motifs, whose central characteristics are clean lines and sharp edges formed by dynamic, undulating, and flowing lines in a syncopated rhythm as architects tried to harmonize with the natural environment.

This authentic period cylinder pull can recreate an accurate historical scene in a building of importance, whilst also putting that perfect finishing touch to an area of new interior design.

This cylinder pull is also available in gold or silver plate.

Silver cylinder pulls are available either plain silver plated or antique silver plated.
Gold cylinder pulls are available in either Titanium Gold or in Antique Gold Plate.

Titanium gold cylinder pulls are supplied in a gold coloured PVD finish. PVD stands for “Physical Vapour Deposition”. This is a state-of-the-art process where molecules of hardwearing metals are deposited onto the metal surface. This microscopic layer protects the finish from discolouration. This protective layer makes this gold cylinder pull especially suitable for use in normally high wear-and-tear situations, such as stately homes, public buildings, retail establishments, hotels and commercial premises.
