Originally made for PVCu and composite doors, multipoint locks are becoming more popular on wooden doors, especially new wooden doors.
These British made, multipoint lock handles are available as standard with centres of either 92mm (the most popular size currently in the UK) or 68mm (usually to fit older doors). However, we can have them made up to accommodate any centre size required. Please email us if you require handles with an alternative size.
These handles can be supplied with the following plate fixings:
Face Fix - Plate screwed onto the door
Bolt Fix - Plates bolted together
Face Fix handles are fitted in a traditional way, with four screws per handle (screws provided with the handle). These fixings are normally used on wooden doors
Bolt Fix handles are fitted on doors where screws will not work. A good example of this would be composite doors where the wood is too thin to take screws.*
* When ordering Bolt Fix multipoint lock handles, please remember to measure the “Bolt Centres”. This is the distance from the centre of the top bolts to the centre of the bottom bolt.
Each multipoint lock door handle is traditionally made here in the UK and finished by hand, so you can be assured that each handle is truly unique.
Every multipoint handle is individually quality checked at the end of the authentic manufacturing process and doesn’t leave the factory until the smoothness of movement and finish quality has been checked.
It can be supplied as either a solid brass door handle (choose from lacquered or unlacquered) or in one of the range of plated or applied finishes.
The plated and applied finishes range from both antique to contemporary, so will suit almost any style of decor. Choose from a range of brass, chrome and nickel finishes, in antique, polished, satin or distressed styles. For example; you could choose an antique brass door handle for a more traditional house or choose a polished chrome door handle for a more contemporary style.
This handle set is also available in the full range of solid bronze door handle finishes - Real Bronze Metal Antique, Polished Bronze (Gunmetal) and Tudor Bronze. These bronze finishes are not plated finishes, but solid, cast bronze door handles.
