Hand-finished, antique style, cast brass hinge fronts from Kirkpatrick, manufactured in a traditional English ironfoundry.

A hinge front is used on a door to give the appearance of being hung on traditional hinges, but without having to re-hang the door. Also known as “dummy hinges” (or “fake hinges”) these screw on hinge fronts are a great way to add character to your door, with very little effort.

These cast brass hinge front sets are traditionally made here in the UK.

Kirkpatrick’s long tradition of manufacturing means that they have a style and authenticity which is lacking in the cheap imitations which are available. Their workforce is skilled in the traditional methods of production, which have not changed in essence over the last 156 years.
