A beautifully crafted, British made escutcheon (keyhole cover).

An escutcheon is used as a keyhole cover; it is the plate fitted to cover the keyhole to give a decorative finish. These escutcheons are designed to fit standard rim-lock lock keyways.

These classic escutcheons are traditionally made here in the UK and finished by hand, so you can be assured that each one is truly unique.

Every escutcheon is individually quality checked at the end of the authentic manufacturing process and doesn’t leave the factory until the finish quality has been checked.

These are very high quality, solid brass escutcheons, which are available in a full range of finishes (see below), so will suit almost any style of decor. Choose from one of the many aged and antique finishes for antique escutcheons or one of the plated finishes, such as chrome or nickel, for a more contemporary look. The plated and applied finishes are applied to the brass escutcheons and finished by hand, guaranteeing an exceptional finish quality.

These escutcheons are also available in the full range of solid bronze finishes – Real Bronze Metal Antique, Polished Bronze (Gunmetal) and Tudor Bronze.

These bronze finishes are not plated finishes, but solid, cast bronze escutcheons.

Please note, these are handcrafted, British made products which may be made up bespoke for your order. As such, please allow approximately three to four weeks for manufacture and delivery of brass escutcheons and plated/applied finishes, or four to five weeks for solid bronze escutcheons.
