A very nice quality mortice sashlock, for use when a British standard, insurance graded lock isn’t required.

Please note; this is a 5 Lever lock, not a BS3621 insurance graded lock

These sashlocks have standard 57mm centres (the measurement from the centre of the spindle to the centre of the keyway) and so are compatible with the complete range of lever on plate door handles.

Using a roller bolt rather than a conventional latch, these sashlocks have a nice smooth action, with less wear over time on the strike plate.

These locks used to be sold as Chubb locks, but are now manufactured under the name Union C-Series. This is because Assa Abloy (the owners of the Chubb, Yale and Union brands) no longer produce any locks under the Chubb name. They are the same locks, made by the same people in the same factories and so will fit as an exact replacement for the old Chubb 3K75 range.

Please remember to check the “backset” size when ordering. This is the distance from the edge of the door to the centre of the keyway.

If you are purchasing this lock to replace another, please be aware that this lock only has the same backset as the Chubb 3K and Union C-Series range of locks. This is slightly different to most other ranges of mortice locks.
