A very nice quality, insurance graded mortice deadlock.

Please note; this is a 5 Lever BS3621 insurance graded lock

This deadlock is up to the new European standards; British Standard 3621 2007. Comprising a 20mm “throw” on the anti-saw bolt, hardplate and anti-pick levers this deadlock is suitable for use on any external door.

These locks used to be sold as Chubb locks, but are now manufactured under the name Union C-Series. This is because Assa Abloy (the owners of the Chubb, Yale and Union brands) no longer produce any locks under the Chubb name. They are the same locks, made by the same people in the same factories and so will fit as an exact replacement for the old Chubb 3G114 range.

Please remember to check the “backset” size when ordering. This is the distance from the edge of the door to the centre of the keyway.

If you are purchasing this lock to replace another, please be aware that this lock only has the same backset as the Chubb 3G and Union C-Series range of locks. This is slightly different to most other ranges of mortice locks.
